Job summary

Evans & Dixon, LLC is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate for its St. Louis, MO office. The firm provides sophisticated legal advice and trial representation to Midwest business clients across state and federal courts.

The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff to prepare evidence for trials, handle depositions and court appearances, and draft various pleadings and legal documents. This is a full-time, on-site role in St. Louis.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3+ years of experience in the legal field.
• ABA-accredited law degree required.
• Licensed to practice law in Missouri with ability to become licensed in Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, or Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants as part of a litigation team.
• Prepare evidence, documents, and presentations for trial preparation.
• Handle depositions, mediations, conferences between claimants and judges, and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
