You'll draft and argue motions, take depositions, represent clients in trial, arbitration, and mediation, and provide strategic counsel that moves cases forward. Collaboration and independent work fit this role.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions that hold up in court.
• Confidence navigating the New Mexico court system.
• Skilled at depositions and witness examinations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; clarity of complex topics.
• Strong analytical instincts and sound judgment.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Active member of the New Mexico State Bar.
• Background in construction or casualty claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision.
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
• Keep clients and insurers informed throughout the process.
• Provide strategic litigation counsel to move cases forward.
• Own your docket and manage day-to-day tasks to meet billable targets.
