Job summary

Porter Scott seeks an Associate Attorney with at least two years of civil litigation experience in Sacramento, CA. The role offers exposure to motions, discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation within a collaborative firm culture.

Licensed in good standing with the California Bar, you will handle diverse matters, contribute to case strategy, and grow under seasoned trial attorneys in a hybrid work setting with strong mentorship.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
• Minimum of two years of attorney experience.
• Prior civil litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in insurance defense, public entity defense, employment, construction, or business litigation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and argue motions and conduct legal research.
• Manage discovery and take/defend depositions.
• Participate in mediations and trial preparation with senior litigators.
• Contribute to case strategy and client relationships.
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment.
