Jobot in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to defend governmental and public entities. You will learn from a former AmLaw 100 shareholder, draft dispositive motions, take and defend depositions, and participate in courtroom proceedings.

Hybrid schedule with a target of 1,700 billable hours; compensation ranges from $150,000 to $225,000 per year, depending on experience.

Competenze

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience (defense side a plus, not required).
• Hands-on experience with written discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Interest in learning governmental and public entity liability, including Section 1983 civil rights defense.
• Strong legal research and writing skills, especially summary judgment briefing.
• Self-starter who can manage a caseload independently in a hybrid setting.
