Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree and Indiana license in good standing.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• Billing time experience and private practice background preferred.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in client matters.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze matters to provide competent representation.
• Draft documents for client representation and route through office procedures.
• Meet deadlines associated with client matters and court dockets.
• Supervise legal assistant and paralegal.
• Conduct negotiations, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Litigate cases in court, in person or via electronic participation.
• Communicate status with department head, partners, and clients.
