Overland Contracting Inc is seeking a Laborer Apprentice 2 (Civil) to join our craft workforce. You will receive classroom and on-the-job training to develop essential construction labor skills on civil projects, with safety at the forefront.

As an apprentice, you’ll work under experienced crews across procedures for forms, concrete placement, measurements, and site coordination, while growing your craft and contributing to critical infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• 6 months – 1 year of carpentry or similar civil craft experience.
• Knowledge of auto-level and transit for accurate lay-out and verification of finished grades, fabrication and erection of forms.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR) may apply.
• Certifications listed in the job posting include NCCER credentials.

Responsabilités

• Operate hand and power tools to form, install and assemble components per specifications.
• Follow safety processes, participate in safety discussions, and use stop-work authority when needed.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications and coordinate with other crafts.
• Participate in on-the-job training and mentoring opportunities.
• Deliver quality work that meets plans, specifications, and industry standards.
