Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to join our Owner’s Advisor team supporting the METC Recapitalization Program at Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston. You will help manage risk, protect the government’s interests, and support the delivery of five modern dormitories for up to 6,000 students.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
8+ years of site/civil engineering experience.
Active PE licensure (Texas) or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Provide civil engineering advisory support for grading, drainage, roads, troop circulation, underground utilities, and construction staging.
Coordinate civil interfaces with building foundations and installation operations.
Review site civil packages, utility profiles, grading, drainage, pavements, and stormwater design against criteria.
Coordinate survey controls, utility conflicts, foundation/civil interfaces, and geotechnical recommendations.
