Job summary

Wood is currently recruiting for a Civil Foreman with experience in the construction industry to work in Baytown, TX. Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

The Foreman will supervise all crafts on site, ensure safety compliance, inspect work sites, train workers, and coordinate with customers and management to deliver projects on time. Candidates should have journeyman level experience, a valid driver's license, OSHA 30-hour training, and prior crew

Qualifications

• Journeyman level experience in at least one craft.
• Valid driver's license is required and a Heavy Equipment Operator.
• OSHA 30-hour training is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all crafts on site, managing technical, safety, and personnel aspects.
• Identify safety problems and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Communicate requirements with customers and plan workflow.
• Inspect sites for safety prior to permits.
• Instruct workers on new procedures and materials and conduct safety meetings.
• Coordinate with managers, other departments, and contractors to resolve issues.
