Wood is seeking a Carpenter Journeyperson to join a civil project in Baytown, TX, through 2026. A TWIC card and lawful work authorization in the US without sponsorship are required.

The role involves building and installing forms, framing, and hollow structures per blueprints, with strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include reading plans, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling forms and scaffolding.

Qualifications

• Previous field experience in carpentry.
• Knowledge of standard carpentry concepts and procedures.
• Ability to work with precise accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to work at heights.

Responsabilités

• Build wooden structures and form supports per blueprints or oral instructions.
• Lay out and install partitions and cabinet work.
• Read blueprints to determine material quantities and dimensions.
• Load, haul, and stage materials to the work site.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood using tools and measuring devices.
• Erect scaffolding and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
