Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN, seeks a Field Engineering Supervisor - Civil to lead the Civil Field Engineering group on complex construction projects. You will interpret designs, develop inspection packages, and guide field engineers to resolve technical issues.

Accountable for scheduling, workload balancing, timecard approvals, and annual performance reviews, you will coordinate with construction managers and craft crews to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with all

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain DOE clearance (Q clearance) per job requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in construction field engineering, inspection packaging, and design interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction to the Civil Field Engineering group and assign work.
• Interpret designs, develop inspection packages, and guide field engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Perform reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and codes.
• Approve timecards and conduct performance reviews.
• Support construction craft and subcontracts with field engineering guidance.
