RS&H is offering a Civil Field Engineering Inspection Intern position in the Panama City and Tallahassee, Florida areas for Summer 2027. You will work with experienced engineers, gain hands-on inspection experience, and learn the Transportation Construction Management field.

The internship emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, motivation, and dependability, with mentorship from senior associates and exposure to field inspections and report preparation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering Management, or related program at an ABET-accredited university.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision as well as within a collaborative team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support inspection teams with field inspections.
• Verify the dimensions of prepared and completed work.
• Collect and prepare data for evaluation.
• Perform engineering with the use of computer-assisted engineering software and equipment.
• Prepare reports for site operations activities, including materials used and completed work.
• Provide support to engineering and project management associates.
