Job summary

RS&H, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Civil Field Engineering Inspection intern to support our Transportation Construction Management team in the Panama City and Tallahassee areas for Summer 2027.

You will collaborate with engineering professionals, assist in field inspections, verify dimensions, collect data, and prepare reports using engineering software, while developing hands-on experience in transportation construction management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an ABET-accredited degree in Civil, Construction, or Engineering Management.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision and in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Panama City and Tallahassee regions.

Responsibilities

• Support inspection teams with field inspections.
• Verify the dimensions of prepared and completed work.
• Collect and prepare data for evaluation.
• Perform engineering tasks using engineering software and equipment.
• Prepare reports for site operations including materials used and completed work.
• Provide support to engineering and project management associates.
