The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and 5+ years of experience in site clearing, grading, and setting out. Proficiency with CAD tools and a strong knowledge of codes, QA/QC, and mentoring junior engineers are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years of site development experience including grading and establishment.
• Strong knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and QA/QC practices.
• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Ability to interface with clients and field crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design and execution of facilities such as service roads, yard piping, and drainage and supporting infrastructure
• Translate engineering concepts into buildable designs, specifications, and construction documents
• Partner with Project Managers to drive project delivery—on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Analyze site data to inform design decisions and mitigate risk
• Perform process calculations critical to system design
• Serve as a technical point of contact for internal teams, clients, and field personnel
• Oversee and coordinate subconsultants and multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct design reviews and ensure alignment across engineering disciplines
• Support field inspections, QA/QC programs, and construction activities
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Contribute to proposals and help win exciting new projects
