Job summary

Hatch is currently seeking Project Engineers to provide engineering analysis, design engineering, and construction management support on a wide range of heavy industrial projects. The Project Engineer will work with the Project Manager to produce design reports and bid documents, coordinating tasks for on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates bring a Civil/Environmental/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree and 10–15 years of heavy industrial experience, with strong CAD and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimally 10-15 years of heavy industrial experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate close work with clients, field personnel and internal departments.
• Proficient in CAD and engineering software.
• Ability to mentor project engineering staff members early in their career development.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis, design engineering, and construction management support on heavy industrial projects.
• Prepare plans, reports, and construction bid documents.
• Organize, execute and coordinate task assignments contributing to overall project delivery.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and drawings for project investigations, planning and design.
• Develop and implement quality assurance plans and field inspection plans.
