Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, strong estimating software skills (Agtek, Hard Dollar), and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office. You will collaborate with project teams from pre-bid through award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Advanced computer skills with estimating software; Hard Dollar experience a plus.
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office.
• Knowledge of on-screen take-off software (Agtek).
• Knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6).

Responsibilities

• Bidding major utility company projects.
• Determine labor and equipment costs.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Send RFQs to vendors and subcontractors.
• Review bid documents and assess project risks.
• Understand project logistics and schedule.
• Compare subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Review quotes with Project Management Team.
• Prepare estimates at different levels of completion.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings with Clients, Owners, Subcontractors and Engineers.
• Support other related duties as required.
