Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking an experienced Estimating Leader to manage Estimating personnel and drive accurate, detailed construction cost estimates. This role supports the development of preconstruction standards, bid analyses, and project budgets.

Applicants should have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management and 5–8 years of estimating experience, with strong leadership, risk management, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of estimating experience.
• Civil estimating experience and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manages Estimating personnel and develops preconstruction standards and processes.
• Develops accurate, detailed cost estimates and reviews others' estimates.
• Develops scope clarifications and RFIs.
• Performs market bid leveling analyses and recommends bidders.
• Develops project construction budgets and maintains preconstruction software.
• Acts as Pricing Lead when required and contributes to risk management.
• Participates in proposal win strategy and coordination with design and clients.
• Supports subcontractor and vendor solicitations and project buyout.
