Job summary

RES is seeking a site-based operator to safely and efficiently perform Civil/Electrical duties at the project site. You will operate heavy and light equipment, conduct pre-inspections, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities include following OSHA procedures, wearing PPE, reporting unsafe conditions, and traveling as required. Experience with backhoe, loader, roller, excavator, crane, and related gear is essential.

Qualifications

• Must follow OSHA safety procedures for heavy and light equipment.
• Experience operating a range of equipment including backhoe, loader, roller, rock truck, blade, excavator, dozer, and forklift.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA safety procedures for heavy and light equipment.
• Operate backhoe, loader, roller and rock truck, plus blade, excavator, dozer and forklift as required.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing loads, perform pre-inspection checks and monitor equipment usage.
• Report results from pre-inspections including hours usage, fuel usage, deficiencies and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and notify supervisor for refueling or malfunctions.
• Climb into heavy equipment using ladders and keep cab area clean.
• Wear PPE in designated areas and adhere to safety procedures.
• Travel and work away from home as required.
