Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for an Intern / Co-Op – Civil / Environmental Engineer in our Davis, CA office. The position offers the opportunity to apply engineering knowledge to real-world situations while also learning the business skills needed for a successful consulting career.

The role is part-time (10 hours/week) for the Fall Semester of 2026, with the possibility to extend into the Spring Semester of 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience with ArcView, CADD, and/or Microsoft Office.
• Outstanding academic credentials and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation for project-site travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based tools.
• Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
• Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures.
• Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and project staff; potential fieldwork such as soil and groundwater sampling.
