Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Civil/Environmental EIT to join our Waste Sector team in Denver, Colorado.

The successful candidate will support civil infrastructure, site development, and environmental projects such as landfills, recycling facilities, remediation sites, and waste transfer stations. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, with opportunities to grow through diverse assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, analysis, and design of civil and environmental infrastructure projects.
• Prepare construction drawings and design documentation using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Develop site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and roadway improvement plans.
• Assist with stormwater management analyses, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations.
• Coordinate with surveyors, GIS technicians, engineers and project managers to ensure accurate data and compliant designs.
