Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Designer/EIT to create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems under guidance from the Project Engineer. You will prepare plans, write reports, determine sizing and equipment, and collaborate with the owner.

Preferred candidates hold AutoCAD or MicroStation experience and a commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture, with local opportunities in the WaterBusiness Group. Full-time, onsite role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems under instruction from the Project Engineer.
• Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications and study reports, determine design methods and equipment sizing.
• Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
