Job summary
Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to support planning, design, construction, and inspection of capital infrastructure projects across the park system. This role blends office tasks with frequent site visits, reporting to the Director of Construction and collaborating with contractors and internal teams to ensure work meets plans and park standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering or related field.
- Experience in civil drafting and design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, planning, and management of capital infrastructure projects.
- Conduct field inspections and document progress, conditions, and contractor activities.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates and recommendations.
- Perform site visits to development and remote areas as needed.
