The Kleingers Group in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an Engineering Design Technician to support civil engineering projects under guidance. The role focuses on planning, evaluation, design, and implementation of site civil engineering work, with beginner-level software knowledge and growth opportunities.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with engineers and architects to deliver designs, learn state and local regulations, and progress projects while developing professional skills across

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree or related field.
• Develop baseline understanding of state and local regulations.
• Willingness to rotate between two groups in the first two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Consult with project managers to guide design and modifications.
• Use design software and drawing tools to render designs.
• Plan and design improvements for assigned projects.
• Analyze drawings, blueprints, survey data to plan projects.
• Prepare reports including detention and due diligence reports.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, engineers to progress projects.
• Communicate project status with internal teams.
• Monitor progress to ensure design specs and standards.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and expand civil engineering knowledge.
• Support successful completion of projects.
