Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Dallas, TX is seeking Summer Interns to support Construction, Rail, Transit, Roadway, Structures, Bridges and Transportation Planning projects on-site in Dallas, Fort Worth or Plano. You will assist engineering teams with tasks, research and the preparation of drawings and documents.

You must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or related field. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil, Structural, Construction Engineering, Water Management, or related field.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program.
• High interest in infrastructure and transportation.
• Basic understanding of engineering, geometry and algebra.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams with research, development and design tasks.
• Assists with preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports on-site project tasks at Dallas, Fort Worth or Plano offices.
