Job summary

HNTB’s 2027 Summer Internship Program invites students enrolled in an accredited engineering program to work with engineer teams across Construction, Rail, Transit, Roadway, Structures, and Transportation Planning in Austin, Round Rock, and San Antonio.

Interns will assist with research, development, and design, prepare drawings, and perform basic engineering calculations under supervision; relocation is not provided, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
