Job summary

HNTB invites Summer Interns to contribute to our construction, rail, transit, roadway, structures, bridges, traffic, construction services, and water resources teams across Dallas, Fort Worth and Plano. This on-site role supports engineers with design, drawings, research, and documentation for major infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited engineering program, pursuing Civil or related fields, and prepared to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Water Management, or a related field.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
