Job description

CPC is seeking a Senior Project Manager/ Senior Project Engineer experienced in Land Development and Municipal engineering projects. The successful candidate will provide technical and design services supporting Land Development and Municipal projects and must have experience leading a design team. Specifically experienced in site development, water and sewer utilities, and stormwater management. This position will be based in Orlando, FL, and will report directly to the Director of Engineering Services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Marketing and managing Municipal projects throughout the State of Florida.
• Manage internal projects and design staff with the day-to-day aspects of a project or portion thereof.
• Effectively communicate relevant information to superiors.
• Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
• Manage the permits with all government agencies, local and state.
• Understand and communicate information tactfully.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ICPR, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and follow through to completion within an allocated time.
• To perform the job successfully, the best candidates will have excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• Florida P.E. License.
• Minimum of 8 Years of Experience in Land Development and Municipal projects.
• BS in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with Land Development/Site Design, Stormwater, Utilities, and permitting with our Local and State Regulatory Agencies is required.
• The position requires a valid driver's license.
