Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager for the Cary, NC office. The PM will oversee site/civil design projects from concept through construction, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, NC PE license, 5+ years of PM experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation. You will mentor staff, manage proposals, and coordinate with clients.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering required.
• NC PE license preferred or being able to obtain.
• 5+ years of civil engineering PM experience on relevant projects.
• Experience with site/civil design including layout, grading, stormwater, utilities, roads.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and production on assigned projects.
• Lead and mentor design staff and review work for quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate tasks with other PMs, engineers and clients to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, permits and specifications.
• Oversee project budgets, invoicing and fee tracking.
• Support business development and client relationships through proposals and meetings.
