Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) seeks a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead civil/site development projects from planning through closeout in Pittsburgh. The role blends technical design, project leadership, and client relationship management for a diverse mix of commercial, industrial, energy, and renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Experience in civil/site design and permitting processes

Responsibilities

• Manage civil/site development projects from planning and permitting through design, bidding, construction, and project closeout
• Serve as the primary client contact, guiding projects while ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services and future project work
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including survey, geotechnical, traffic, environmental, ecological, and construction professionals
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and technical deliverables
• Lead permitting efforts and navigate municipal, county, state, and regulatory approval processes
• Conduct technical reviews and provide quality assurance on project deliverables
• Mentor and support the development of junior and mid-level engineers and designers
• Participate in industry organizations, conferences, client meetings, and business development activities to support continued practice growth
