Our team collaborates with campus stakeholders on projects including new buildings, renovations, and infrastructure improvements, aiming to enhance campus infrastructure and functionality.

Job Description
Nature of Work:

Manage University of Missouri projects through design, bidding, and award phases, focusing on civil, site development, and structural repairs. Leverage civil engineering expertise in grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, traffic planning, pavement, and structural repairs to oversee project phases, ensuring alignment with university and stakeholder objectives, regulatory compliance, and sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage project scope, schedule, and budgets, maintaining clear communication with all project participants and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project scopes for site development, structural restoration, and infrastructure projects, coordinating with contracted consultants.
  • Oversee architectural and engineering development, review plans and specifications, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage consultant costs, monitor project progress, and facilitate effective communication among all parties.
  • Lead consultant solicitation, design process, bid activities, and construction phase involvement.
  • Plan project delivery, identify priorities, and manage budgets, schedules, and scope throughout project lifecycle.
Shift

7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration or Engineering; Master's preferred.
  • Experience in Higher Education, Design, and Construction industries.
  • Licensed Missouri civil/mechanical engineer and professional certifications like PMP are desirable.
  • Valid Missouri driver’s license or ability to obtain one within six months.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually. University benefits include health plans, retirement, paid leave, disability, parental and caregiver leave, and educational discounts.
