Job summary

The City of Salem Public Works is hiring a civil engineer at three levels—Engineering Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Project Manager—depending on experience and certification. The hybrid schedule allows 3–4 days in the office with remote work on other days with manager approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Possession of Professional Civil Engineer License within the State of Oregon within one year of appointment.
• Pass the pre-employment background check.
• Possess an Oregon Driver license and driving record meeting City standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and programs through design and construction phases.
• Lead a project team of licensed professional engineers and oversee budgets and QA/QC.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization and community.
• Provide full-service project management for municipal infrastructure projects.
