Job summary

CPH is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager (PE) to join our team in Tampa or Lakeland, FL. The PM will oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while leading a production team and coordinating subcontractors and permits.

The role serves as the primary client contact, ensuring full project delivery and supporting upsell conversations. Requires a PE license, 5+ years in A/E/C, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Active professional licensure (PE) is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Valid state driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project production, delivery, and client updates.
• Develop and maintain project plans with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage assigned scope and EWAs, negotiating fees with clients.
• Create and maintain Smartsheet; align with financial reporting.
• Lead production team through weekly reviews and coaching.
• Monitor labor burn and variances; flag scope creep; propose EWAs/ETCs.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact; escalate strategic items to Program Manager.
• Prepare pre-bills, progress updates, and billing notes; support AR.
• Enforce safety and DOA; maintain project files and lessons learned.
