Job summary

Talanto seeks a Civil Engineering Intern in Burlington, MA for a 10–12 week summer internship. You will work with engineers on civil analysis, design, field inspections, and report writing, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to municipal projects.

The role emphasizes teamwork, mentoring, and real project work in a 100% employee-owned firm. Ideal candidates are finishing at least two years toward a BS in Civil Engineering and have CAD/BIM skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of undergraduate study towards a BS in Civil Engineering required.
• Assist with field duties such as surveying and materials testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software and BIM expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil engineering analysis, design, field inspections, and report writing.
• Support project design portions according to codes and standards.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to meet project goals.
• Document design decisions and client instructions during progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final check.
