Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers seeks a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Eugene, OR. You will work on real projects using Civil 3D under the guidance of PEs, EITs, and designers, and participate in site visits to gain hands-on experience.

The internship runs May–August or June–September, with a hybrid schedule (3 office days, up to 2 remote). Compensation starts at $25/hour, with overtime opportunities and professional development events.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BSCE program (junior or senior)
• Proven ability to work full-time internship (3 months)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work well independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Design, create plans, and conduct research with support from mentors
• Head out on site visits to gain hands-on field experience
• Participate in internship trainings, learning sessions, and vendor lunch-and-learns
