Job summary

STV is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Georgia. This hybrid internship offers hands-on experience with senior engineers and exposure to meaningful projects while balancing academic commitments.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines and development of practical design skills. Candidates must be pursuing a civil engineering degree (ABET-accredited) and be able to participate in the internship for at least 3 months, with a preference for those able to work

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) for bachelor’s or master’s level.
• Interest in civil engineering design and project development.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid internship schedule (office 3 days/week).

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and stakeholders.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address issues.
• Support feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, narratives, and development applications.
• Develop engineering designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related tools.
• Learn and apply current engineering standards and procedures on projects.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and project documentation.
• Support supervisor in project goals and team objectives.
