STV, Inc. invites applications for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in a hybrid work setting. The internship welcomes undergraduate and graduate students eager to learn, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain practical experience in a supportive environment.

This position requires in-office presence at least 3 days per week, with preference for a 3‑month or longer engagement and potential for full-time consideration after the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET‑accredited university or NCEES equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assist in designing civil engineering projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring regulatory standards and specs are met.
• Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate project elements.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project issues and ensure success.
• Support feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to inform design.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, narratives, and development applications.
• Contribute to engineering designs and work with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Learn and apply current engineering standards and procedures to assigned projects.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and documentation for projects.
• Perform other tasks to support project goals and team objectives.
