Job summary

Strong written and verbal communication, GPA 3.0+, and pursuing a BS/MS in civil engineering are preferred for this entry-level assignment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in civil engineering with junior status or higher.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Ability to exercise good engineering judgment.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing design concepts, studies, and design options.
• Perform basic analysis and design calculations under direct supervision.
• Prepare deliverables including plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates using CAD software.
• Perform field investigations and construction administrative duties under direct supervision.
• Provide support to engineering staff members as needed.
• Assist in reviewing close-out documents as needed.
