Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in a hybrid role requiring on-site presence three days a week. Undergraduate and graduate students will work with seasoned engineers to design projects, perform site investigations, and prepare technical documents.

The internship emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and adherence to regulatory standards. Preference for those pursuing continuous, full-time availability for at least three months.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
• ABET-accredited program preferred for internship eligibility.
• Not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing civil engineering projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate project elements seamlessly.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project-related issues and ensure project success.
• Provide support in conducting feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to inform project design and development.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, narratives, and development applications.
• Contribute to the development of engineering designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
