MacKay is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Vancouver, WA for 10-12 weeks during the summer of 2027. You will work alongside experienced engineers on projects in water resources, energy, land development, and more, gaining hands-on experience and practical skills.

Candidates should be enrolled in a civil engineering program, with preference for seniors. You will learn to review plans, interpret specifications, and develop designs while contributing to real projects and

Qualifications

• Enrolled in civil engineering or related program; senior year preferred.
• Strong writing, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn new software and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop practical experience in solving engineering problems.
• Review plans, site layouts, and specs for compliance and safety.
• Gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Meet deadlines and work well in a team environment.
• Prepare engineering designs and specifications for project portions.
