Interns work alongside engineers, designers, inspectors, and PMs to learn the full lifecycle of land development from planning through permitting and construction.

Interns will gain practical engineering skills, contribute to active projects, and develop technical and problem-solving abilities that translate to a future civil engineering career.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering student seeking hands-on experience
• Exposure to land development lifecycle from planning to completion
• Work with experienced engineers, designers, inspectors and project managers

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with major phases of land development on active projects
• Assist with site plans, grading and drainage, stormwater, utilities and other civil engineering construction documents
• Learn construction document preparation, quantity and cost estimates, bid documents and permit applications
• Coordinate with local and state agencies during permitting
• Support field observations, inspections, and project coordination throughout construction
