Job summary

LJA Land Development offers a Civil Engineering Intern program that provides hands-on project experience, mentorship, and field exposure. The internship runs in-person for a summer period, with full participation from Monday to Friday and 40 hours per week, designed to develop technical and professional skills for a career in the industry.

As an intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers, shadow operations, and participate in social and professional engagement activities that support

Qualifications

Completed at least one year of college and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
Strong academic performance and motivation to gain industry knowledge.
Good organizational and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering assignments with direction from experienced engineers.
Shadow actual operations and learn about project phases.
Take on unique assignments supporting larger projects and day‑to‑day engineering activities.
Engage with the culture and participate in social events and sector exposure.
