Job summary

Stantec is now accepting applications for Summer 2027 Civil Engineering interns within our Community Development Group in multiple locations throughout Minnesota (Twin Cities, St. Cloud, Rochester).

As an intern, you will work in a team environment gaining practical on-the-job experience while exposure to community development projects. Most time will be spent outdoors on construction activities and you will gain hands-on skills and a network to support your future career.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and surveying.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Interest in serving municipalities with infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the civil component of a wide variety of projects in a design team.
• Perform construction observation for project compliance with documents and engineering principles.
• Complete construction administration tasks including documenting activities and coordinating testing.
• Prepare detailed reports and assist with surveying as needed.
