Job summary

Stantec is now accepting applications for Summer 2027 Civil Engineering interns within our Community Development Group in multiple locations throughout Minnesota (Twin Cities, St. Cloud, Rochester).

As an intern, you will work in a team environment gaining practical on-the-job experience while having exposure to community development projects. Most of your time will be spent working outside on construction activities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of basic AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and surveying concepts.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with completing the civil component of projects in a design team.
• Perform construction observation for project compliance.
• Document construction activities, coordinate materials testing, and provide general oversight.
