Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC (GMC) is seeking an Engineering Intern at Auburn University to support on-going projects in the Auburn, AL office. The internship offers exposure to reports, site plans, permit documents, and construction schedules, with guidance from engineers.

Minimum qualifications include pursuing a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, with working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D; EIT is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Civil3D experience preferred.
• Familiarity with field and office project environments.
• Ability to operate in a team and assist with project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical skills to routine civil projects with supervision.
• Direct technicians for production of engineering documents.
• Coordinate cross-discipline checks and reviews.
• Prepare reports and technical memorandums under supervision.
• Participate in developing scope and client communication.
