Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC (GMC) invites qualified students to apply for the Engineering Intern (Georgia Tech) position based in Atlanta, GA and/or Cartersville, GA. The internship offers hands-on experience preparing reports, site plans, permit documents, construction schedules, and cross-disciplinary project tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Willingness to work both in the office and in the field.

Responsibilities

Apply technical skills to routine projects with minimal supervision.
Assist in directing technicians for production of engineering documents.
Coordinate cross-disciplinary checks and ensure quality conformity of documents.
Support engineers in scope and risk review discussions with clients and Contractors.
Prepare reports and technical memorandums under supervision of the Engineer-of-Record.
