Job summary

IMEG in Dallas, TX is offering a Civil Engineering Intern position for a 10–12 week summer program. You will assist in analysis, design, and oversight of civil systems, support field inspections, reports, and permit applications.

The role provides mentoring and cross‑functional teamwork exposure across municipal, university, and utility projects, with a focus on real project work and learning the civil engineering trade.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least 2 years toward a BS in Civil Engineering.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with CAD software and BIM.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of civil projects according to code and IMEG standards.
• Support field inspections and prepare project documentation.
• Aid in coordination with architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical teams.
• Contribute to permit applications, site drainage and grading design.
• Document design decisions and meetings for permanent records.
• Assist with preparing addenda and reviewing project documents.
