Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering students to join our Terrell, Texas office in 2027 for an on-site internship. You will use AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS to analyze, deliver, and QC client projects.

Responsibilities include contributing to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis while collaborating with project managers and cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in a listed major (in progress).
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Biosystems/Chemical, or Eng Tech expected.
• Must be pursuing degree at an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables.
• Support pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Tackle complex problems and assist with multi-project activities.
• Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS and more.
