Job summary

PremierAgile Consulting Private Limited in Los Angeles is seeking a Civil Engineering student to assist with take-offs, project monitoring, and scheduling, under the guidance of a senior engineer.

You will gain hands-on experience in producing engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates, using AutoCAD or MicroStation, and learn to apply relevant codes on site visits and inspections.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited Civil Engineering program; BS degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and engineering software such as SAP2000, CSI Bridge preferred.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Assist with computer modeling.
• Assist with producing progress reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
• Assist in producing engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under senior engineer supervision.
• Apply proper codes and standards in engineering deliverables.
• Attend site visits or inspections.
