Iaas Lc invites a Civil Engineering student to join as an internship in Los Angeles. You will familiarize yourself with plans, perform take-offs, assist with monitoring, modeling, and reports, and collaborate with engineers and drafters under supervision.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd or 4th year Civil Engineering student; BS preferred.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and SAP2000/CSI Bridge.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Assist with computer modeling.
• Assist with producing progress reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
• Assist in producing engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under senior engineer supervision.
• Apply proper codes and standards in engineering deliverables.
• Attend site visits or inspections.
