Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Dallas, TX; Plano and surrounding offices are inviting 2027 Summer Interns to contribute to projects in construction, rail, transit, roadway, structures, bridges, traffic, and water resources. This on-site role expects current enrollment in an accredited engineering program and a high school diploma or GED.

You will assist engineering teams, help develop drawings and documents, and perform other duties as assigned, gaining exposure to a broad range of infrastructure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Basic understanding of engineering, geometry and algebra.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to follow direction from peers and supervisors.
• Interest in infrastructure and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
