IMEG is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern in Aberdeen, SD to work closely with a team of experienced engineers and consultants on engineering analysis, design, field inspections, writing reports, preparing permit applications, site drainage and grading designs, and learning the Civil Engineering trade. Over 10-12 weeks, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting real project work while learning the civil engineering trade. In this role, you'll help the team work within project budgets, collaborate with cross-functional disciplines, and support project progress through documentation and job site observations. You'll contribute to transportation and public-works projects while delivering resilient, environmentally responsible infrastructure.

Strong South Dakota public-works and transportation team across Sioux Falls, Pierre, Aberdeen, Watertown, and Huron SDDOT construction administration, county bridge inspections, and on-call municipal engineering Microsurfacing design, lift station and forcemain work, survey, and hydraulics Frequent bridge, highway, and survey work driven by county and city clients Recent work includes SDDOT Sioux Falls Construction Administration, Transportation; Aberdeen Bridge Inspections, Transportation; and Groton Lift Station & Forcemain, Water/Wastewater.
